Written Directions from Cincinnati to House
- Go south out of Cincinnati on Interstate 471 toward Highland Heights
- Interstate 471 end in Highland Heights on US-27
- Continue south 4 miles to intersection of US-27 with KY Route 9 – often called the “AA”
- Turn right down ramp and go 0.5 miles to main road
- Merge onto Rt.9 “AA” and travel 49.9 miles toward Maysville
- You will come to the intersection of Rt. 9 with KY Rt. 11 where there is a stoplight.
- Turn right (toward south) on Rt. 11 and continue 12.3 miles where there is a stoplight.
- Turn right and continue 2.6 miles
- You will come to an intersection where Rt. 11 turns to the right and Rt. 32 continues straight ahead toward Morehead
- Continue straight on Rt. 32 9.7 miles to Farris Branch Road which is marked by a street sign.
- Turn left on Farris Branch Road [It is easy to miss this turn. If you do so you will within 1/4 mile come to Ersel B Ward Elementary School on the left and Fox Valley Grocery on the right. Turn around and go back.]
- Go 1.4 miles on Farris Branch. On the way the road turns from asphalt to gravel while starting up a hill. At the top of the hill you will come to two 4′ tall concrete pillars on the right.
- Turn right and go between the pillars on the gravel road
- Continue one mile. On the right is the Cabin. Turn left and go 500 feet and you will come to the House.
